- I admit, that at first, I looked into selling the imitation flexible barrels. When I took one look at them, I realized that they were not a product I wanted to sell in my store. We measured them right next to a real 55-gallon barrel and they were shorter. You could tell by looking that the material was thinner and the wire was too. I sent them right back.
